Those required documents that the employers submitted to apply to employ foreigners that are not in Chinese (e.g. employment contract, educational background, work experience, and other documents), will they need to be translated into Chinese? 1.The translation for all the documents could be an abridged version with essential content that should be examined according to the regulations (for instance, the translation for employment contract should include names of the employer and employee, job content and title, employment period and salary) and the stated issuing or signatory unit of the document, signatory name and position, signatory date, and other content (for those where the signatory name is a foreign name, clearly state the original name in the Chinese translation). Also, the content of abridged translation should be in accordance to that in the original documents.
2.The applying units shall translate these into Chinese by themselves and no further verification is needed.
