1. The locations of FEPZs are based on port and agricultural biotechnology part in the first phase, including Kaohsiung Port FTZ, Taichung Port FTZ, Taipei Prot FTZ, Keelung Port FTZ, Su’ao Port FTZ, Anping Port FTZ, Taoyuan Airport FTZ and Pingtung agri-biotech park.
2. The primary targets for development in FEPZs are high-value-added service industries. Manufacturing industries that can promote service industry development are the secondary targets. The priority for FEPZs development is to take good advantage of our human resources, technology, ICT, geographical location and cross-strait advantages in order to develop high-value-added economic activities, including smart logistics, international health care, value-addad agriculture, financial services and education innovation. Since there is no limitation on the industry category, priorities in development can be added in the future to exceed the current five sectors.
