Subject: The Ministry hereby announces that it will commission the Export Processing Zone Administration, MOEA to handle the issuance of approvals to any enterprise within the Zone for employment of a foreign worker to engage in the specialized or technical work referred to in Subparagraph 1 of Paragraph 1 of Article 46 of the Employment Services Act, as of April 1, 2017 until March 31, 2019.
Merit:
1. Article 10-3 of Statute for the Establishment and Administration of Export Processing Zone.
2. Paragraphs 2&3 of Article 15 of the Administrative Procedure Act.
Announcement:
1. For said issuance of approvals handled by the Export Processing Zone Administration, MOEA, the Employment Services Act and relevant laws and regulations shall apply.
2. The review charges payable by the enterprises within the Export Processing Zone, MOEA for the application for the foreign worker’s work permit shall be paid to the exclusive account maintained by the Ministry of Labor (by postal transfer; Account name: Exclusive account for fee-charging for employment license by the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor; Account No.: 19058848).
