Application submitted online
According to Article 7 of Regulations on the Permission and Administration of the Employment of Foreign Workers, employers hiring foreigners of type A and type D shall apply online via the EZ Work Permit platform.
7 working days (counting from the next day when the application has been received), given that all the documents are complete and both the employer and employee have met the criteria.
Exception of application submitted in person
With the legitimate reason (for example: natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, or website unavailable) and has the approval from the central authorities, employers hiring foreigners of type A and type D can apply on paper.
12 working days (counting from the next day when the application has been received), given that all the documents are complete and both the employer and employee have met the criteria
