If this is a new employment application case, if the employment starting date that the employer applied for has already passed by the time the work permit is issued by the Ministry, then the employment starting date will start from the day the work permit is issued and will not be traced back to the employment starting date that the employer applied for. If this is an extension case, the employment starting date of the work permit will continue on from the ending date of the original employment work permit (the employer shall submit the extension case on the expiration day of the original employment period).
